Yeti – The Himalayan Kitchen

My quest for authentic flavours took me to this place which offers different cuisine from the Himalayas. Himalayan cuisine is diverse and unique as it covers all ends of the Himalayan borders. In the local staple you will find dishes from China, like chow-mein and spring rolls, or of India, with Curries and Samosas. Himalayan food is a unique food culture which is like a drooling mix of Chinese, Nepalese, Indian and Tibetan favourites.

Himalayan food is much more then just yak meat butter tea and here at “Yeti” its a celebration of different cuisine found there.

“Yeti – The Himalayan Kitchen” is another gem in the Haus Khas market commonly known as “HKV”. Although this place is all about night life and pubs and designer outlets. “Yeti” is a breath of fresh air to me. I love to visit this place due to the fact it gives you a homely feeling and comfort. The ambiance both inside and outside is absolutely perfect for its theme. Good himalayan food with beautiful greenery outside of the place. One can relish a good quality meal with a feel of the nature.

It has the authentic flavour and taste of a home cooked dish. Very rustic. To maintain the flavour these guys even source spices from the Himalayas. The have chefs from the same origin. Nevertheless, this place and its flavours speaks of its own.

This place has become my second home if ever I wanna come over for some comfort food and a relaxed time.Visited the place with some friends and totally fell in love with it. By the time I’m writing this review I have visited the place twice.
And I’m sure I’m coming back for more.
